Organoids: small structures with great potential

What exactly are organoids and how can these tiny structures from the laboratory revolutionize medicine?

Join us as we delve into the fascinating world of Organoids organoids - organ-like mini-models that take research, diagnostics and therapy to a whole new level.

Four Dresden scientists, Prof. Dr. Mareike Albertresearcher at CRTD and professor at TU Dresden, Prof. Dr. Larysa Baraban researcher at HZDR and professor at TUD, Dr. Ivona Mateska, scientist at NCT, and Dr. Anna Dowbaj, scientist at MPI-CBG, provide exciting insights into current developments and future prospects of organoid technology. Experience how these miniature wonders are helping to understand diseases and develop new therapies.

Our event takes place on the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, and the event will also highlight issues around the challenges facing women in science.
